TASMAN KERLEY is a specialist knife maker, specialising among other things in the technique of hand forged Damascus Steel. Layering steel alloys, the metal is successively folded and re-forged to create unique wood grain patterns that are specific to each billet of metal.

The artist has applied this process to create a unique collection of jewellery, most particularly, rings, combining the patterned Damascus Steel with 18ct white or yellow gold. Studio based, the artist regularly contributes to knife-makers and jewellery exhibitions.
