JEANETTE DYKE trained for 9 years as a Gold and Silversmith in England and Germany. In 1993 she gained a Masters Degree in Gold and Silversmithing from the Royal College of Art in London and went on to set up her first workshop in London the same year. In 1996 she moved to Australia and settled on the edge of the Yarra Valley in Melbourne.
She has spent the last 3 years living and working at Clifton Pugh’s unique property Dunmoochin, an artists' haven close to Melbourne. Jeanette sits on the board of Dunmoochin and has initiated Artist Residencies attracting applicants both national and international.
Her work is connected to her interest in environmental issues and is often based on shapes and forms she has observed in nature.
