MITSUE SLATTERY states "I am in awe of nature. It is eternal and makes things which human beings are not able to. I think almost everyone has some feeling for nature. I am interested in expressing and making some form of water, wind, sky, etc., with a sheet of metal hitting it with a hammer."   

Mistue's work is poetic. Made of fine patinated sterling silver, she is the consumate colourist and maker of delicate nature like forms.
Light and infinitely delicate, her works are at once bold and fine.
